Our conference motto “Enjoy…every first second” relates to the atomic clock which is situated in Braunschweig and provides the time of the day for the whole of Germany. In such an atomic clock the length of a second is deduced from the periodic vibrations of caesium atoms and transmitted directly, for example, to all radio alarm clocks and station clocks in Germany.

Enjoy… or Children's Programme

For all the delegates who want to combine family and profession, we can offer two perfect alternatives for bringing

children to the conference. Both are pedagogically proven and we expect the home school to allow the children –

without any reluctance – to participate in their own “children’s conference”. A declaration for school exemption

(for the child’s regular school) is available on request.

For Infant and Children the registration fee will be: (as long as registered with at least one delegate) 0-6 years old – Free, 7-12 years old – 25% of registration fee, 12-18 years old – 50% of registration fee.

International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg

During the conference the children (age 4 – 18) may join the regular educational programme at the International

School. In the morning they will participate in class, join the breaks, enjoy their meals, and so on. In the afternoon

they will take part in project classes (sports, games, handcrafting etc.). In the evening and the night they will enjoy

the hospitality of one of the pupils’ homes.

The arena in Braunschweig's "Bürger"-park has evolved to a highly sought after meeting point of the region and beyond. The Volkswagen arena is Braunschweig's largest roofed over venue with a capacity of 8.000. Be inspired by international sports events as well as internationally renowned cultural highlights. The arena also is permanent home to the German basketball league.

Mass events such as the general assembly of companies quoted on the stock exchange as well as exhibits and fairs can use 3.000m² of outdoor space.
