JCI operates through local organizations that are run by volunteers and local leadership teams. Together, these local organizations form JCI Norway, the national organization. When you become a member of JCI, you always join a local organization. This is where you will participate in activities, build relationships, gain experience, and start your personal development journey. At the same time, your membership gives you access to opportunities at the national and international level through JCI Norway and the global JCI network. Thisstructure allows members to engage locally while benefiting from a worldwide community of young active citizens.
The National Board is the leading link between JCI Norway and Junior Chamber International.
The board works to increase engagement in an organization that aims to grow into the future!
In JCI, you are an active member between the ages of 18 and 40.
Many members continue their connection to the organization long after their active membership years. Those who have made significant contributions to JCI at the local, national, or international level may be nominated to become a JCI Senator.
The JCI Senate is an international network of experienced JCI alumni who continue to support and strengthen the organization around the world. Becoming a Senator is one of the highest recognitions a member can receive for their service and commitment to JCI.
